Why UPSC asks about Mizoram
Mizoram is the north-south folded hills of the Indo-Myanmar border: Phawngpui (Blue Mountain), the Tlawng river, and bamboo-dominant forests. UPSC tests the "jhum" shifting-cultivation geography, the Chhimtuipui (Kaladan) river linking to Myanmar, and Dampa tiger reserve.
